Cassidy Medical Centre is now a Training Practice, joining a growing portfolio of AT Medics postgraduate training sites and the largest network of GP training practices in London.

GP Director Dr Aumran Tahir commented “It is with great pleasure that I announce Cassidy Medical Centre has been approved today (Thursday 21st July 2016) as a training practice by the School of General Practice. I am delighted that Dr Ahmed Hamza has been approved as a GP ST Trainer for the first time, and I would like to pass my warmest congratulations to Dr Hamza and the whole team at CMC.”

“Our first GP trainee will be joining Cassidy Medical Centre soon, and patients will be advised to ensure that they have the opportunity to decide whether or not to see a GP trainee during their consultations.”

Cassidy Medical Centre joins a growing portfolio of AT Medics postgraduate medical training sites, now 12 in total, delivering bespoke training and education programmes, with 11 ST3 trainers and nine F2 trainers.

AT Medics delivers several successful training and education programmes for all grades of primary care staff across its portfolio of London practices.

Cassidy Medical Centre came under management by AT Medics in July 2015; Training Practice status is one of a number of key and significant improvements that have been achieved under the new management, focused on delivering high quality accessible healthcare services in a professional, well-managed learning environment.
